“Today is the first blank page of a 365 page book. Write a good one.” – Brad Paisley
I am a list maker for many reasons, not the least of which is my terrible memory. If I don’t write it down I will forget it. But I also think there is something powerful in writing. Listing your resolutions is the same act as making a permanent declaration to the universe that this matters to you, this is important, this is something you will strive for and the universe will return your efforts to you.
2014 had its highs and lows, its scary days and its blissfully happy days. Reflecting on the past year is important, the good and the bad that happened to see the best that can come out of everything.
Nothing stays the same, we change everyday and I constantly strive to be a better person than the one I was the day before. Life guarantees it will always change and the best I can do is make the most of every day. You only have one life and it’s yours to make the most of it.
Cheers to 2015.
