My go-to style is a casual mix of classics; striped tops, layered sweaters, slim-cut pants and leggings or skinny jeans with a floaty blouse. One of the best aspects of working from home is the ability to wear whatever I feel like on any given day of the week (so yes, there are the occasional cozy sweatpants days) but to keep my favorite looks from becoming boring I will often pair my wardrobe basics with a boldly patterned shoe.
My favorite shoe nearly all year round is a leopard flat (also love this one). The leopard pattern is classic yet attention-getting at the same time, it pairs well with nearly any color of the rainbow, and can be worn with wide-legged, skinny or flared pants, along with a skirt or dress.
Leopard is a pattern but also a neutral that can be paired with a myriad of handbags from a hands-free crossbody to a ladylike top handle in neutral or boldly colored options. The leopard pattern gives a low-key ensemble a little pop of style that it would otherwise be lacking.
