Christmas in New York City

bryant {under the tree in Bryant Park}

Last weekend the mister and I had our annual mini Christmas in NYC {combined with an extra birthday celebration for me}. Going to New York for an early Christmas celebration is one of my favorite holiday traditions. New York City is fabulous any time of the year, but during the holidays the city becomes a magical place. The scent of roasted chestnuts in the air, snowy streets, holiday-themed windows, and holiday cheer throughout the city is wonderful.

Listed below are some of my favorite places, along with a few new must-go spots and eats.

{The NY Public Library is one of my favorite places and the dressed-up lion creates the cutest festive style}

{Love the over-sized Christmas decor throughout the city}

{We stumbled upon this Christmas tree floating in the lake in Central Park}

{A snowy walk through Central Park to watch the ice skaters}

{An evening stroll through Bryant Park and its Christmas Market}

{Cupcake and wine pairings for a birthday celebration at Sweet Revenge}

{Je and Jo organic ice cream paired with cookie dough flavors menu}

{Brooklyn Bagel baked apple cream cheese and a cinnamon bagel-’nuff said}

{The ultimate burgers at Shake Shack}

{Parisian chocolat chaud at La Maison du Chocolat}

    Love, love, love this. Like you say, NYC is great all year round, but especially this time of year. Jealous! 🙂
