Easy Ways To Add Pastels To Your Wardrobe
Now that Spring is here, it feels as though pastel colors are all around. Pastels are sweet and just right for brightening up favorite go-to pieces and outfits. I prefer to incorporate these soft shades in to my wardrobe by mixing them with a neutral shade or pairing with a denim top/bottom. I prefer to wear pale pink; it’s a blush tone that is also close to a neutral, looks good on all skin tones and pairs easily with darker or lighter neutral shades. For a bit more of a pastel color pop, I like to add mint or lilac. These shades are a bit more statement making but still easy to work with.
{pale pink worn on the top and bottom works well together because the sheer fabric for the top juxtaposes against the denim. the pieces are then paired with a black cross-body bag that serves as a steadying neutral for the pastels}
{pink pants are mixed with a pastel bag and the textured sweater serves as a neutral for the two pastel shades}
{adding a denim top to pastel bottoms holds together the different textures and colors at play in this look}
{beige moto jacket, quilted purse and gold jewelry are luxurious neutrals against lilac denim}
{soft greys and whites play well with pale pink bottoms}
{mint top, pale skirt and pink lips are perfect together and pairing the pieces with a darker neutral clutch adds an edge to the soft look}
{stone colored denim pairs well with a bright, statement making mint trench}
{ease your way in to wearing lighter shades with pastel nails}
