~ What To Wear: Baby, It’s Cold Outside ~
Getting dressed in the winter can be daunting but I firmly believe in beating the winter blues through my wardrobe & love the possibilities that winter gives through all the layers we can wear. I use these ideas when I’m faced with cold, dreary days that make me want to stay indoors.
~ Embrace Color ~
{wear layers of your favorite color}
{a maxi skirt in a heavy fabric & paired with a leather jacket is a wearable winter option}
{layer a brightly colored lightweight coat to make it wearable for winter + a touch of leopard}
{shades of winter white worn together defy grey, dreary days}
~ Heads Up ~
{embrace your inner Grace Kelly & rock a classic head scarf}
{pompom hat with matching gloves keeps you warm & adorable}
{add waves & volume to keep hat hair at bay}
{keep warm under a chic fedora, cloche or wide brimmed hat}
~ Layer ~
{layer lacy, Summer pieces over dark tights + add fur for extra style}
{layer traditional pieces – cable knit sweater, blouse & skirt over tights for additional warmth. top off the look with a bun & sunglasses}
{start with a favorite tank, add a cozy wrap sweater then add structure to the look with a blazer}
{battling cold rainy days with a trench, hat & boots works in the winter too when layered over a cable knit sweater}
{unzipped but cinched creates a relaxed “anything goes” vibe}
{shades of grey combined worn over a pop of color & leather leggings all conspire to keep you warm while the glitter shoes defy the cold}
